Jennifer Garner, who was born in and brought up within Charleston West Virginia, on April 17th, 1973 was born in Houston, Texas. William John Garner served as an engineer for Union Carbide. Patricia Ann, her mother was a professor at a nearby university. So that she could follow the tradition of her father, she obtained a degree in chemical engineering.
